BF4: Official 17 Mins "Fishing in Baku" Gameplay Trailer...

Following simultaneous debut events in San Francisco and Stockholm EA has officially revealed initial details for Battlefield 4, plus a first glimpse of the game in action.  Powered by DICE’s proprietary Frostbite 3 engine, EA has confirmed Battlefield 4 is set to launch in Autumn 2013 (or Spring, for Southern Hemisphere readers).

EA debuted the game with a 17-minute gameplay demo, which begins with the player – Recker – opening his eyes to discover that he's trapped in a sinking car with three squad mates. It's a sequence set, oddly enough, to the strains of Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’. You can check it out below.

I usually morph my own voice... but it sounds like Mr. Hanny from Green Acres... so I only use it for emergencies & weddings.

thinking I may want to get back in the fight with this one, it's been a while, only got to wait for some cash to free up, so possibly by next weekend I can join the fun.

so, how is the new armored kill thing... looks cool on the video's

Demy doesn't have Operation Arrowhead, he only has Arma 2, so his version would stop at 1.11.

Also, you have to have both Arma2 & Operation Arrowhead to play DayZ as it utilizes Combined Ops mode for both, so until he gets Operation Arrowhead, he won't be able to play DayZ.

Steam won't auto update or any kind of update, until they are made official releases, the server you were on was running the latest beta patch for Arma 2.  That's what the extra numbers are on the end (86734).

You can download & install the latest patch from the link below..

Once you've installed it, you will need to go to the folder where your game is installed (\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2) & you should see a new icon that say Arma2 Beta patch, you will need to right click on it & create a new shortcut to your desktop, this will let you play Arma2 + the beta.

If you have any trouble, you can always download Arma2 Free from Steam, it's the same game of Arma 2 only it's already updated to the latest beta version.  Let me know if you have any trouble.

As someone who knows FF very well, I can tell you he worries about the tournament more than anyone I know, so there is no need to question his dedication & loyalty, plus the tournament is not run by one person, but the community as a whole, so lets not put any negativity on someone for doing something he loves to do.... add anything he can to hopefully draw attention to the site/community/tournament.

It's very easy to take shots at others who do most, if not all, the hard behind the scenes work day in & day out, when they do something along these lines just to bring in some fun from a different perspective.

I expect just as much from the community & the members to remain dedicated & help to keep our forums & servers active, as I would the leaders who maintain those servers... sometimes out of his own pocket... and to help run & provide a place to play, so please show respect to Firefox is all I ask, he has been the single most driving force behind the resurgence of FFTF.

hey, very cool... I love the yatchee game, just played a round but didn't do so well.  I remember back when we used Vbulliten we had a double yatchee type game was pretty cool & lots of ppl played it, again very good plugins.

I never filter the name of a server unless for our servers, I do select the game mode if I want to play TDM/Large Conq/Rush or a particular map at times.

also, click on the "player" tab again, as it will list both directions, one way it starts with most players the other it starts with least..
